virtual via Zoom
April 10
Registration for the 2021 Beta Beta Beta South Central Regional Convention is now open. The registration fee of $25.00 is required of each participant. Individual registration using the online form below will close on Monday, April 5 @ 5:00 PM CST. Group registration is also available upon request. Contact BBB Regional Vice President, Dr. Adam Ryburn ([email protected]), for any questions or concerns.
To All Participants: Since this virtual convention will take place via Zoom, you will be required to log in to the convention using your Zoom account. If you do not have a Zoom account, you can sign up for a free Zoom account on the Zoom homepage. You will receive an email the day before the convention with instructions on how to access the Zoom meeting. When the convention begins at 9:00 AM CST on April 10, you will be allowed to choose one of many Breakout Rooms where you can view different presentations. A detailed presentation program will be sent to all registered participants and will be available on this site the week leading up to the convention.
To All Student Presenters: If you wish to present your research at the 2021 Virtual Convention, you will use the same registration referenced in the information “To All Participants” above. Once you have selected which type of presentation you will give (i.e. virtual oral or virtual poster) the online form will be populated with fields prompting for your presentation title, authors, research summary, etc. Additionally, Beta Beta Beta bestows awards for outstanding oral and poster presentations. If you wish to be considered for an award, be sure to click on that option on the form. These presentations will be recorded at time of presenting so they can also be judged at a later date if needed. Click here for more information regarding these awards. Once registration for the convention has closed (Monday, April 5 @ 5:00 PM CST) you will receive an email detailing the time and Breakout Room assignment for your presentation on April 10. The virtual oral presentations will take place in the morning and virtual poster sessions will take place in the afternoon. All presenters (oral and poster) will be allowed 15 minutes (including questions) to present their research. Presenters should consult with their faculty research advisors for the most appropriate format of presentation.
Scrapbooks Are Going Digital: If your chapter is interested in submitting a scrapbook this year, all submissions will be electronic. The deadline for Scrapbook submissions has been extended to April 19. Click here for more information.
